Call for Submissions – Special Issue Education as a Right: international and multidisciplinary perspectives
The Com Censo Journal (Revista Com Censo - RCC) invites researchers from both Brazil and around the world to submit original works for its special issue Education as a Right: International and Multidisciplinary Perspectives, which aims to foster critical reflection on education as a fundamental right through various theoretical and empirical approaches.
Objective
To promote academic debate on the right to education by incorporating interdisciplinary perspectives from law, history, economics, political science, literature, and other related fields, while engaging in a dialogue with the field of education.
Scope
In its inaugural international edition, the RCC welcomes submissions in Portuguese, Spanish and English in the form of:
- Original articles (Theoretical or Empirical research).
- Case studies.
- Critical book reviews.
Core themes
The works should focus on education as a fundamental right, addressing topics that include, but are not limited to:
- Diversity, sustainability and ethno-racial relationships.
- Policies and practices for inclusion in education.
- Initial teacher education and ongoing professional development.
- School management and educational policies.
- Education financing and equity.
- Remote learning and digital technology.
- Lifelong learning.
- History of education and educational rights.
- Education, coloniality and neocolonialism.
- Alternative teaching resources and pedagogical innovation.
- The intersections between education and literature.
- Education for citizenship and human rights.
