Abstract

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many higher education institutions, professors and students had to adapt to remote teaching as a possible solution to maintain classes and mitigate the damage caused by canceling academic contact. The objective of this research was to verify the perception of Physical Education students from a private Higher Education Institution in Brasília, about the impact of remote teaching during the period of the COVID-19 pandemic. This research was carried out with 45 students, male and female, with an average age of 23.31 years, in the year 2022. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire developed in Google Forms and sent by the Coordination of the Physical Education Course . The results demonstrate that the Education Institution's decision to maintain the academic calendar during the pandemic period was well received by students, although most students do not consider this model attractive.
