Abstract

Teachers and researchers throughout the 19th and 20th centuries have constantly questioned the Brazilian Education Policy to childhood in the social and cultural spheres. The child, previously seen as an invisible human being or as a speechless person, has gradually been getting more importance in the society with the publication of laws and social policies. These policies intend to reach the early childhood education as part of special and inclusive education. This article aiming at discussing about the history of the implementation of High Abilities care in the Brazil Federal District from the performing of public policies that addressing inclusive education. In this sense, it is important to identify whom these children are. In addition, it is necessary to review the current studies in order to find strategic approaches to promote a humanized work.
