Resumo

Apesar dos números alarmantes de violência contra mulheres na atualidade, é sabido que tal fato faz parte de uma questão histórico-cultural e a escola, enquanto instituição social, não pode estar alheia a essa questão. Com o objetivo de trabalhar a prevenção da violência contra a mulher a Escola Classe 22 do Gama desenvolveu o Projeto: Força, Substantivo Feminino. Foram aplicadas sequências didáticas variadas a partir dos conteúdos propostos pelo currículo em movimento para 4º e 5º anos, tais como leitura e produção escrita de gêneros textuais. Para além disso foram trabalhados os números da violência e os ambientes que ocorrem, a fim de alertar as crianças a respeito de tal realidade. Por se tratarem de crianças o tema foi apresentado de maneira a preservar a integridade emocional das mesmas trazendo obras do público infantil e discussões a partir de periódicos e demandas apresentadas pelas mesmas numa linguagem apropriada. O projeto, apesar de ainda não estar concluído, evidenciou a transformação no modo de pensar e agir dos estudantes envolvidos, estudantes estes que poderão ser autores de uma história mais próxima de um ideal de igualdade.

Strength: Feminine noun

Abstract: Despite the alarming numbers of violence against women today, it is known that this fact is part of a historical-cultural issue and the school, as a social institution, cannot be unaware of this issue. With the objective of working to prevent violence against women, Escola Classe 22 do Gama developed the Project: Strength, Female Noun. Didactic sequences were applied based on the contents proposed by the curriculum in motion for 4th and 5th grades, such as reading and writing textual genres. In addition, the numbers of violence and the environments that occur were worked on, in order to alert children about this reality. As they are children, the theme was presented in a way to preserve their emotional integrity, bringing works by children and discussions from periodicals and demands presented by them in an appropriate language. The project, although not yet concluded, evidenced the transformation in the way of thinking and acting of the students involved, students who could be authors of a story closer to an ideal of equality.
