The Revista Com Censo (RCC), a scientific journal founded within the State Department of Education of the Federal District (SEEDF), celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2024 and has been fulfilling a significant scientific-pedagogical role due to its dedicated focus. RCC confirms its commitment to publishing in the Teaching and Education fields, encouraging and disseminating scientific and pedagogical work by teachers, and contributing to the strengthening of continuing education at SEEDF. In this context, the objective of this article was to analyze the journal’s data over its existence, mapping aspects that reveal a portrait of the publications, as well as the profile of the authors that contributed to RCC. To this end, a bibliometric survey of articles and reports published from 2014 to 2023 was conducted, and information related to the journal's metrics, the topics covered, and the profile of the researchers, such as institutional affiliation and gender, was monitored. This survey consists of a first layer of exploration of the Journal's metadata and should be improved in future research. The results show an increase over time in the number of submissions, publications, and topic diversity. The authorship profile revealed a majority of authors from the Federal District region, predominantly female, with affiliations beyond SEEDF. From a future perspective, there are challenges to overcome regarding the exploration of new technologies, an intersectional approach and the use of practices related to the principles of open science, aiming at disseminating knowledge in a more inclusive, democratic, and dynamic manner.
