Abstract

Research as an educational foundation, emphasized by Pedro Demo, drives transformative learning by strengthening students' intellectual autonomy, thereby enhancing critical and analytical skills necessary for citizenship formation. It stimulates curiosity and inventiveness, integrating curriculum content with real-life situations. Despite challenges such as institutional resistance and lack of resources, interdisciplinary strategies and partnerships can overcome them.
