Abstract

The educational environment has undergone some changes after the beginning of the Covid-19 Pandemic, and thus, the Institutional Program of Scholarships for Initiation to Teaching (Programa Institucional de Bolsas de Iniciação à Docência - Pibid) needed to adapt to achieve its goals. This project aims to report the experience obtained in Pibid Physical Education (PE) of the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro - UFRRJ) during the pandemic period, analyzing the creation of a page on the social network Instagram managed by the scholarship students as a tool for teacher training and scientific dissemination, after that, it will be observed the interactions that occurred during the posts. A case study was used in the methodology, with a qualitative character, as a source of data production. The expected results are that we perceive the virtual platform adopted as a powerful tool for teacher education in the context of Pibid at UFRRJ, as well as to overcome the obstacles encountered during the pandemic.
