Guidelines for teaching in Early Childhood Education: Official documents published by the State Department of Education of the Federal District

Abstract

This article aims to analyze what are the guidelines for teaching practice in Early Childhood Education based on documents published on the website of the State Department of Education of the Federal District (SEEDF), aimed at the first stage of basic education. In this study, the documents of the referred site were mapped and identified in the tab named as Pedagogical Space, as well as a documentary analysis of its contents was carried out. A field research was also elaborated, with the technique of data collection, through a questionnaire sent to the teachers of the Public Teaching Network of the Federal District who work in this stage. 113 teachers participated in the questionnaire, which corresponds to 10% of the number of professionals who work in Early Childhood Education Centers and Kindergartens in the Federal District. With this study, it was possible to conclude that the site's documents can bring subsidies to the teacher's pedagogical work with children in Early Childhood Education; but, provided that its effective reading and reflection by the teachers is considered.

É especialista em Educação Infantil na Perspectiva Histórico-Cultural pela Faculdade de Tecnologia de Palmas (2021). É professora da Secretaria de Educação do Distrito Federal. Mestranda em Educação na modalidade profissional pela Universidade de Brasília (PPGE/UnB).

Possui graduação em Pedagogia pela Universidade de Brasília com período sanduíche na Universidade do Porto (2014) e graduação em Psicologia pelo Centro Universitário de Brasília (2013). Fez Projeto de Extensão: Diálogos com Experiências Educacionais Inovadoras. É professora da Secretaria de Educação do Distrito Federal. Mestranda em Educação na modalidade profissional pela Universidade de Brasília (PPGE/UnB).
