School transition in early childhood education: welcoming and partnering with the school community

Abstract

This work aims to report the trajectory of school transition in the context of Education of Childhoods, from the reports of experiences, with the participation of the school community having in the process the co-responsibility, welcoming and partnership as a tripod to seek the practice of the rights contained in Brazil’s Common National Curricular Base. We seek to reflect on how this occurs in practice, how these rights are being guaranteed and reach the children. We also discuss the possible mediations in the transition period from Kindergarten to Elementary School, highlighting some assumptions to think about the reception and partnership of education professionals in this process.
