Alfabetização e letramento: um estudo no contexto do Distrito Federal no período pandêmico

This study proposed to analyze the conceptions and practices of literacy and
alphabetization in the face of the challenges that remote teaching has been imposing
on the apprenticeship of reading and writing in the 1st year of elementary school.
Theoretically, it is anchored in authors such as: Morais (2020), Soares (2021), among
others. This is a qualitative research, anchored in thematic content analysis (BARDIN,
1977). The data production occurred in two 1st year classes of two schools of the
Federal District Department of Education, in 2021, with class observations (two in one
and three in another class) and semi-structured interviews. Regarding literacy
practices, it was found that teachers resorted to literacy-oriented activities. However,
little was invested in literacy. It is noteworthy that, although the coordinators revealed
in their narratives the defense of the perspective of teaching literacy, there seemed to
be no articulated work between these professionals and the teachers.
