Olhando um teatro negro por Buraquinhos

Abstract

Neste artigo, serão abordados características e questionamentos acerca da estética teatral negra, de forma que ao mesmo tempo descreve e pergunta o que são os teatros negros. Também será discutido como se dá a relação entre essas epistemologias não hegemônicas e a universidade. Para isso será traçado um panorama histórico breve sobre as manifestações artísticas afrodiaspóricas para chegar na contemporaneidade, com a obra de Jhonny Salaberg (2018) Buraquinhos ou o vento é inimigo do picumã com o qual, em paralelo faz-se a discussão sobre a inserção de uma disciplina sobre teatro negro no curso de Artes Cênicas da Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp). Espera-se neste artigo observar e compreender como as formas artísticas negras e seus estudos se dão nesse presente momento que é constantemente atravessado pelas ancestralidades dos corpos em discussão.

Looking at a black theater through buraquinhos

Abstract: In this article, characteristics and questions about theatrical aesthetics will be addressed, so that while describing it also asks what black theaters are.
The relationship between non-hegemonic epistemologies and the university will also be questioned. For said purpose, a brief historical view about aphrodiasporic artistic manisfestations until contemporary times will be drawn, with Jhonny Salaberg’s piece Buraquinhos ou o vento é inimigo do picumã, in parallel with the discussion about the insertion of a subject about black theater in the Performing Arts course at the University of Campinas (Unicamp), in order to observe how black artistic formats and its studies take place in present times, constantly crossed by ancestry of the bodies under discussion.
