Play as an anti-ableist practice
Keywords:
Early childhood education, Playful territory, Anti-ableist practicesAbstract
This report has as its central theme the playful territory as an anti-ableist practice, we deal more precisely here with the project “Aririú Field Hospital” proposed in a GT 4 class at CEI Maria José de Medeiros, in Aririú-Palhoça. Held from September to November 2024. We describe in this report experiences of play and proposals that promoted interactions between children, expanding the repertoire between make-believe play and real life, acting directly on the integral development of the child, breaking with ableist practices. Our objective is to present part of the results generated by the project and bring some considerations about the actions in dialogue with theoretical references.
