Abstract

This experience report seeks to analyze the space of continuing education in the public education network of the Federal District, understanding the immense diversity of realities that its teachers deal with. Games, play and dances as content and areas of continued training for Basic Education teachers play a fundamental role in the construction of a playful, critical and creative pedagogical practice in everyday school life. The development processes of children at school is closely linked to playing and the ludic, understanding that development occurs integrally without dissociating cognitive-motor development. Playing and dancing is necessary. We argue that these practices should be part of the school's daily routine and present in continuing education. It is necessary to insist on continued training that places the praxis of corporeality and body culture as part of the process of political struggle, class struggle and the right to play in the school space.
