Scientific Transformation in High School: The Impact of Extracurricular Activities at Centro de Ensino Médio 111 do Recanto das Emas

Abstract

This report addresses the importance of popularizing science through extracurricular activities in primary education within public schools. Extracurricular activities provide opportunities for students to engage with science in a practical and interesting manner, enhancing their interest and understanding of scientific concepts. Additionally, these activities promote the development of important skills such as critical thinking and problem-solving, providing an effective tool for addressing relevant issues in the field. This report discusses the benefits of these activities through a practical example of initiatives developed at a high school located in the Recanto das Emas Administrative Region in the Federal District.
