Why invent a Podcast course?

In this text that follows, I will report on experiences I had as one of the creators/trainers of the PodVoz course. This is a podcast course offered by the Undersecretariat for Continuing Education for Professionals in Education of the Federal District (EAPE). The intention is for the reader to find here a reflective framework on audiovisual production of a pedagogical nature, as well as to highlight the interest in dialogue as a guiding axis for the difficulties and pleasures of the relationship between knowledge and ignorance in the community. Therefore, the text that follows will have more of an essayistic character, of exchanges between those interested in the topic, than a bibliographic review on the subject, for example. There are several concerns that the object brings us. In addition to the technical mastery of tools, we seek to reflect on what to say after pressing ‘record’, that is, we start from a philosophical-pedagogical-inventional perspective to reflect on the challenge of producing relevant content for and with the public education system. The methodology used is that of the case study. I currently hope that the course will go beyond the institutional space and become a learning community in which the effort to write this text will be part of this uncertain process.
