The contributions of the culture of peace to the development of pedagogical praxis: a literature review

The article analyzes the contributions on the theme of culture of peace in the context of academic production in Brazil and within the Federal District, as well as its contribution to the development of the pedagogical praxis of the curriculum. The guiding question of this study consists of answering the question: what are the academic productions on the culture of peace carried out in Brazil and the Federal District? The discussion of the topic was based on the contributions of Xesús Jares and François Dubet. This article has a qualitative and quantitative nature with methodological procedures of documentary and bibliographical research and is based on an analysis of the development of a narrative literature review on academic production regarding the culture of peace category. The searches were carried out on four platforms and show that it is necessary to expand the training, encouragement and development of large-scale publications aimed at promoting a culture of peace in the school environment.
