The report presents the work done to produce an information magazine, publishing events at the school, its history and in the local community. A bimonthly edition was produced, which tells the story of the creation of the school, the context of the local population and its development. School projects, priority events of the two-month period, such as Cultural Fairs, student presentations, literary projects, periodic festivals and other noteworthy events were published. Some of the students' work was also published in the magazine. The target audience was the student body, so that students could take pride in their origins and their achievements, providing connections with reality and the territory in which they live. This project began in the second semester of 2023, with the proposal to extend it to 2024, thus publishing 2 magazines in the first year and 4 the following year. It was carried out by students in the eighth and ninth grades of elementary school at the Centro Educacional Agrourbano Ipê rural school, which caters for students in the initial and final years of elementary school and high school. The research methodology used was participatory, in which the student is the researcher, protagonist and narrator of the project. The instruments used to collect data were interviews, photos of the origins of the CED Agrourbano Ipê, the community and pamphlets on the origins of the administrative territory where the school is located. The magazine was given the name "Periódico Agrourbano" (Agrourban journal) because it is published periodically, with the aim of informing and eternalizing the school's events.
