This article reports on the experience of an innovative methodology known as the traveling classroom, that
was initially conceived as an interdisciplinary class during the remote classes by the covid-19 pandemic in 2020. The
traveling classroom evolved into a workshop in a full-time high school with Portuguese-French multilingual education
projects, of the Federal District's Department of Education. The interdisciplinary classes in the traveling classroom aim to
provide students with an immersion in cultural, historical, and spatial knowledge, moving away from spatial fetishism. The
report highlights the importance of sharing innovative educational practices to promote the dissemination of effective
approaches. The development of the traveling classroom included the use of virtual tools, such as Google Earth and
Canva, along with the participation of virtual tour guides to provide an authentic experience. The project was replicated in various schools, receiving positive feedback. Subsequently, the methodology was adapted into a semester-long
workshop at the Lago Norte Educational Center, a full-time public school with a multilingual education project. The
full-time school is crucial for the project's success, following the Full-Time Education policy implemented in 2017 by
the Federal District's Department of Education. The testimony concludes by highlighting the expansion of the project
to other cities or countries and recounts the implementation of the workshop "Travel to French-Speaking Countries,"
which provided a virtual immersion into various countries, including the use of virtual reality and gastronomic experiences.
