Presentation: Manuel Jacinto Sarmento is a retired Associate Professor with Aggregation from the Institute of Education at the University of Minho - Braga, Portugal. Graduated in Portuguese Studies from the University of Porto (1980), Master's in School Administration - University of Minho (1993) and PhD in Child Studies (1997) and aggregation in Sociology of Childhood - University of Minho (2007). Member of the Research Center for Child Studies.
