Patrimônios e pertencimentos: A Educação Patrimonial como instrumento de democratização cultural

Resumo

Este artigo tem como objetivo tecer algumas reflexões sobre desafios e potencialidades no trabalho de educação patrimonial realizado no âmbito da relação museu escola no Distrito Federal. Considerando que a memória é fundamento para a construção da identidade social e que este processo se redefine permanentemente na relação dialógica com o outro, os patrimônios e museus são espaços importantes para reestabelecer estes diálogos da diversidade. Diante de museus e espaços culturais que reiteram o discurso consagrado a respeito da construção de Brasília, privilegiando nomes e fatos específicos, como fazer valer a relação patrimônio, identidade e cidadania efetivamente? Busco por meio da experiência como educadora em espaço cultural refletir sobre percepções, potencialidades e abordagens que visem superar a história única incluindo outras vozes nesta relação em vista de uma educação para autonomia e a democratização cultural.

Heritage and Belongings: Heritage Education as an instrument of cultural democratization

Abstract: This article aims to make some reflections on the challenges and potential of heritage education work carried out in the context of the museum-school relationship in the Federal District. Considering that memory is the foundation for the construction of social identity and that this process is permanently redefined in the dialogical relationship with the other, heritages and museums are important spaces to reestablish these dialogues of diversity. Faced with museums and cultural spaces that reiterate the consecrated discourse regarding the construction of Brasília, privileging specific names and facts, how can the relationship of heritage, identity and citizenship be effectively enforced? Through my experience as an educator in a cultural space, I seek to reflect on perceptions, potentials and approaches that aim to overcome the unique history, including other voices in this relationship in view of an education for autonomy and cultural democratization.
