A importância do ensino da língua inglesa na educação básica em instituições públicas brasileiras

Resumo

Partindo do pressuposto de que a língua inglesa vem ganhando espaço significativo tanto no mundo corporativo quanto educacional, e que há distinção de ensino no que se refere às instituições pública e privada, este trabalho tem por objetivo geral: apresentar a importância do ensino da língua inglesa nas escolas públicas, e consequentemente apresentar as dificuldades encontradas pelos docentes, e tem por objetivo específico: apresentar possíveis causas de tais dificuldades. Para efetivar as propostas deste trabalho, será utilizada metodologia cientifica pesquisas bibliográficas referentes a este tema. Ressalta-se que este trabalho tem por intenção pedagógica propagar a importância do ensino da língua inglesa na educação básica, fundamental e ensino médio em escolas públicas brasileiras mesmo diante das dificuldades existentes, no qual tal ensino tenha embasamento curricular coerente para uma educação de qualidade.

The importance of teaching English as part of the curriculum in public schools

Abstract: Assuming that the English language has been gaining significant space both in the corporate and educational world and that there is a distinction in teaching in what refers to public and private institutions, this work has the general objective of discussing the importance of teaching the English language in public schools and seeks to present some difficulties encountered by teachers who work in this area. The specific objective is to present possible causes for such difficulties. It is worth noting that this work aims at propagating the importance of teaching English in basic education, both at the elementary and high school levels, in Brazilian public schools. Even in the face of difficulties identified, this paper argues that learning English must be part of a curricular basis, consistent with the broader goal of quality education.
