Uma reflexão sobre o panorama do crescimento populacional no Distrito Federal e a violência no ambiente escolar

Resumo

O objetivo deste artigo é promover a reflexão sobre a relação entre crescimento populacional do Distrito Federal e o aumento da violência no ambiente escolar. O texto traz um panorama das características e da composição da população do DF, em seu processo de colonização do espaço no interior do país; o investimento no desenvolvimento socioeconômico dessa área central; a delimitação da composição do que representa a população do DF e seu impacto na infraestrutura urbana e educacional até a análise sobre a questão da violência no ambiente escolar, cujo diagnóstico não é recente, assim como também não é a proposição de solução de combate a essa violência por meio da educação para a cultura da paz nas escolas.

A reflection on the panorama of population growth in the Federal District and violence in the school environment

 Abstract: The aim of this article is to promote reflection on the relationship between population growth in the Federal District and the increase in violence in the school environment. The text provides an overview of the characteristics and composition of the population of the DF, in its process of colonization of space in the interior of the country; investment in the socioeconomic development of this central area; the delimitation of the composition of what the DF population represents and its impact on urban and educational infrastructure to the analysis of the issue of violence in the school environment, whose diagnosis is not recent, nor is it the proposition of a solution to combat this violence through education for a culture of peace in schools.
