Resumo

O processo de formação do professor de línguas deve ser analisado desde sua formação inicial (na academia) até o seu porvir. Este relato tem por objetivo analisar as políticas que permeiam o ato de ensinar, como influenciam e ditam o fazer pedagógico de docentes de Língua Estrangeira. Nesse entremeio, está a reflexão, sem a qual não é possível enxergar seu próprio trabalho, tampouco enxergar quem é parte primordial do processo de aprender: o aluno. Desse modo, é preciso entender também o papel do erro nessa perspectiva, além do papel da autoanálise do profissional, a fim de auxiliá-lo nas demandas do cotidiano escolar. Com isso, a formação reflexiva pode atingir outros professores, pais, diretores, enfim, comunidade escolar, em um ciclo benéfico que visa a melhoria da educação como um todo.

The process of training a language teacher must be analyzed from their initial training (in the academy) to their future. This report aims to analyze the policies that permeate the act of teaching, how they influence and dictate the pedagogical practice of Foreign Language teachers. In between, there is the reflection, without which it is not possible to see their own work, nor to see who is a primordial part of the learning process: the student. Thus, it is also necessary to understand the role of error in this perspective, in addition to the role of the professional's self-analysis, in order to assist him in the demands of everyday school life. Thus, reflective training can reach other teachers, parents, principals, in short, the school community, in a beneficial cycle that aims to improve education as a whole.
