Novo Ensino Médio, antigas questões

Resumo

O presente relato de experiências alude ao processo de discussão e elaboração do Novo Ensino Médio, considerando a minha contribuição como docente do magistério superior na área de Artes. Nestas linhas, me disponho a narrar sobre as expectativas que o trabalho ensejou, particularmente no tocante à inserção de conteúdos fundamentais para a formação da consciência de estudantes, tais como os temas recorrentes acerca da diversidade étnico-racial. Aqui exponho também algumas reflexões em torno de determinadas atividades artísticas que julgo necessárias ao bom entendimento do texto, procurando demonstrar como tais ofícios são afetados pelo racismo estrutural no país.

New High School, Old Questions

Abstract: The present report of experiences alludes to the process of discussion and elaboration of the New High School, considering my contribution as a professor of higher education in the field of Arts. Along these lines, I am willing to narrate the expectations that the work gave rise to, particularly with regard to the insertion of fundamental contents for the formation of students' consciousness, such as the recurring themes about ethnic-racial diversity. Here I also expose some reflections on certain artistic activities that I believe are necessary for a good understanding of the text, trying to demonstrate how such crafts are affected by structural racism in the country.
