This report describes actions taken by a group of students in a robotics program with the aim of creating a technological solution that would promote inclusion and accessibility. The initiative resulted in the construction of a robotic box that allows a non-verbal classmate with cerebral palsy to communicate. The box was designed to convert personalized inputs into speech, enabling the student to express herself autonomously. Throughout the project, the students applied their knowledge of programming, electronics and design, while developing teamwork and empathy skills. The creation of the robotic box demonstrated how technology can be a powerful ally in promoting equity and inclusion, providing a new form of interaction for people with communication challenges. The success of the project was not restricted to the creation of the device, but also to the positive impact it had on the school community, highlighting the importance of initiatives that combine technological innovation with social responsibility.
